take off the front panel and the lock is bolted to the frame with two shear bolts they will need to be ondone by tapping the edge of them with a sharp punch in an anti clockwise motion,also you will need to dis connect the seat release cable from the lock as the seat is opened via the ignition switch on this model as is the yamaha neo's which by the way is exactly the same machine with a different name on it!
