Does the washing machine ariston A1636S have a filter I can clean?

Seems that every now and then there is a dirty paste on the washing and i have to do it all again. I can't find a filter any where -unless theres one behind the machine? Does anyone know if there is a cleaning procedure to follow, fluff to remove etc. Doesnt seem to be any instruction sin the manual i got with the machine. Thanks! M

This sounds like the goo that collects in the rubber door seal. Mine grew lots of black mould/bacteria and the only answer then was to replace the seal which cuted the problem. My Ariston (1637) doesn't seem to have a filter.
