what's the problem with my citreon c3 diesel 1.4. 2003?

i am experiencing a rattle from alternator belt workings at certain revs. poss a bearing on pulley. change of belt no improvement. what is likely cause & which part needs changed. c itreon c3 diesel 1.4 2003
