when i put my heater on in my zafira my carpet on the passenger side gets wet do you know wot the problems is because i think the pipes burst or the matrix is broke can someone help me please thanks

i have had the same problem as everyone else with there heater matrix making a clicking sound.
after striping the dash down for no reason i found the problem on the drivers side.
take out the plastic cover under the steering wheel and on the back of the heater there is a small pump its this that clicks.
its a easy repair on the bottom there is 3 phillips screws remove these and in side there is 3 gears 2 loose ones a 1 on a small motor the 1 on the small motor you have to slide off and turn it round and refit rebuilt the unit and it stops the clicking.
it seems that this gear slips making the clicking sound .
it worked for me it may not work for everyone but its got to be worth a try.
