laptop/warning with regards to verification of windows xp system?
Recently i have been getting this message on my laptop.It says YOU MAY BE A VICTIM OF COUNTERFIET SOFTWARE
THIS COPY HAS NOT PASSED VALIDATION.
HOW CAN I SOLVE THIS PROBLEM.

if this is a valid copy, email microsoft as I seem to remember reading in a pc mag that they where having issues with false validation warnings

You can solve it buy buying a legitimate copy of Windows as yours obviously isn't so either go through the process online and it'll cost you about £100 to make the one you have installed genuine or go out and buy a new version of windows.
