How do you know you have a Virus??? You're very vague in what you say, Password Expired on what?? Windows, a Program or what. Be more specific.

Not sure what you mean by: "I tried to go on line,and there was this sign telling me that my password has expired". That may be perfectly normal behaviour for what you are doing but you do not give enough detail.
As to virus protection you should have an up to date anti-virus program on your PC. AVG Free is good and free! Downmload it from http://free.avg.com/
