when i put my headlights on i have no pattern .does anyone have any suggestions as to the reason why

The problem could be a bulb incorrectly located in the holder,
crack in haedlight glass, condensation inside headlight lens.
unless it's a mondeo where you will have a job to get a pattern anyway.
most likely though it's bulb incorrectly located in the holder
