How can fix it ( Ovation 60 GLXa )?

The Main Oven does not appear to be heating to the temperature required to cook meat at pre determined gas marks
In effect meat is undercooked and requires extra time within the oven

this is going to be the longest time taken to answer a query! It is now 2011 and I was searching for answers to the same problem until I sussed it.
The answer lies in the replacement of the oven door seal which I believe degrades over time and during use. This is evidenced by a gap that can be seen through the top of the door into the oven directly between seal and door. Also when you first ignite the oven condensation appears on the glass of the upper oven-this is your 'lost' heat escaping. The Ovation 60 GLXa has a specific type of door seal so dont be tempted to use a cheap universal door seal like I tried! Be sure also to check the top 2 securing machine screws located on the top edge of the oven door that hold the front glass on.If these are loose tighten them with the correct screwdriver.Check for tightness occaisionally.
Replacement of the seal involves removing the metal seal collar by removng the 4 screws that face you as you open the oven door.A little knock and a wiggle may be needed to displace if it has had a grease build up.Degrease in hot soapy water fit new seal and replace in reverse order of above. This should be job done.
