I have just stripped mine down and it is not logical! Remove the 8 screws holding the motor housing together then remove the 2 plastic circlips holding the brush assemble hinges in place, lift off the hinge bits and the handle section will seperate from the rest of it. You also need to remove the vacuum selector thing and the hose from the brush assy. Next loosen the 3 screws holding the clutch cover to the brush assemble and the motor can be removed, note the way the flange on the motor fits for reassemble. remove the 3 screws and you can remove the brush and belt with clutch unit. When reassembling you need to hold the motor belt with a screwdriver through the hinge hole to refit it on the motor shaft and remember to leave the 3 screws loos until the motor is refitted.
