Hotpoint Aquarius inherited with 'drive belt' for drum
slipping off large pulley and jamming.
The belt seems quite narrow compared with width of
pulley.
Be grateful for anything constructive.

I don't know why it is doing that (I am trying to find out myself) but the belt is definitely supposed be that small. If you look at the drum, it's clear that the belt would have to be that narrow.

prob wrong belt should cover alot of pulley also it is a stretch type so very very tight fit to motor.
