I have just ordered replacement twin wheel runners from Primrose bathrooms after reading all of your posts. Thanks guys, you were a great help.
In future I'll lubricate them to stop them from getting wedged (it was my brute force that broke them in conjunction with our hard water)......
we've only had one working door for 2 months!!

Will repost when they arrive......

most shower doors are made to a certain standard ie 10mm securing holes, 6/8mm glass. Some have one securing hole where others can have two - so most fittings are very similar. Obviously, the same as anything, the quality of roller materials can vary.
I have found some good quality shower door rollers on Ebay ;o)

hi folks, yep, we've got the same problem, got a Select Freya shower enclosure with sliding door, we believe that the manufacturer has gone into administration and the people that sold it to us have no answers - so we're stuck and doorless! It would seem that the only place where you can get anything remotely what we're looking for is in the USA. So much for British workmanship! But, perhaps we're wrong - is there an old fashioned ironmonger out there with a draw full of bits and bobs that would do the job?

Hi Graham again from Scarborough, thanks to one of the answers I rang Primrose bathrooms on 0845 1300565 an got a top set of rollers 23mm. The rollers I needed were 19mm,so I took them down on a grindstone to 19mm they fit perfect top and bottom.Good luck, hope the info helps

I had the same trouble, I found all the bits in the runner and luck wold have it managed to salvage 2 out of the 4 to replace the 2 missing,I found that an O ring or tap washer fitted over the spindle the wheel fits on dose the job untill I find a replacement

There is a really good plumbers merchant in Crouch End, North London. I bought my shower cubicle through them and the runners went and they have just replaced them...

We need 2 plastic brackets (or runners??) for a shower door and we are not sure of the door name or make. They were 2 plastic brackets/runners that broke off. The runners are - 13/4 inches wide by 3inches long. They were positioned with a lip on the 3 inc side that fits into the metal bar that goes across the bottom of the shower. 2 screws hold the 3 inch side of the plastic piece into the metal that is at the bottom of the glass door.

Tim Beddall, September 2009
hi guys,i also need wheels i managed to release two with wd40 and abit of force but still need two

derek, August 2009
You could try www.theshowerseal.co.uk. They only seem to do one sort of roller but they are the only UK stockist I can find. My shower is an Image Ultra and they look the same as the ones already on the doors. Plan to email them to ask if they would be compatible. Hope this helps...

tabbycatwantsthat, July 2009
Also need new bottom door rollers, old ones siezed and rusted.

Its a conspiracy of the Plumbing World. Its impossible to get spare rollers or wheels for sliding shower doors in the UK. Nearest web searched suppliers are all in the States. I dont want to need to go to Tulsa Oklahoma for a 50p nylon wheel for me shower! Stuff that. C'mon you Brits Shower Suppliers - get some in!
