Can you clean a fuel filter? Suzuki Swift Sky 1.0?

Hi,

I own a Suzuki Swift Sky 1.0. I have lost alot of power when at higher speeds and when going up hills. I believe it is the fuel filer. I am going to order a new one but in the mean time can I take it off and clean the old one? What is the best method?

Many thanks,

Joe

Yeah I would be ordering a new one, just worried it will get all clogged up and I would break down. Just wanted to clean it to keep things running for a day or two? Is this possible?

They are throw away items, you can't clean them!
