Is there a filter to be cleaned on an Aquarius 1000. If so where is it. My machine has hose to sink waste connection and I am getting a rotton smell coming up sink. Checked sink (undid U bend and machine conector and it seems to be coming from machine. Any ideas

Your filter is in the large black hose that leaves the bottom of the outer drum ,dirty water from sink could also be running back down the washer drain pipe into machine,causing the smell, a stand alone standpipe is the better option to install a machine properly.
