My lawnflygt mower starts easily but after a few minutes of cutting it stops. After another minute or so it can be started and again runs perfectly for another short period.Suspecting a fuel starvation I removed the in line fuel filter and cleaned it but the symptoms persist.Should I take the fuel filter out of the pipe? The problem first occurred last year when I had to cut long wet grass and had to continually turn the machine on its side to clear the blockage.
Just had same problem Thought it was fuel related Turned out to be spark plug replaced plug no problems since

I suggest the vent hole in the fuel cap is blocked, allowing a vacuum to foem in the tank. Test - remove cap and start engine. If it runs more than 5 mins, problem solved.

It may be the plug has oil up, take it out and clean it, if its the same after that take carburetor off and give it a good clean out, look at the float needle at the fuel inlet..!
