How can i fix vibration on rear of Peugeot 206?

I have a very severe vibration on the passenger side rear wheel / suspension it started from speeds 50 onwards now it is severe down to 40 miles per hour + getting worse - wheels have been balanced etc there does not seem to be any visible signs of wear but the wheel does seem to wobble as other people have pointed out whilst i have been driving it.Please can someone guide me on what it could be.

Tyre distorted/mis-shapen, or bent wheel. I bet a new tyre cures it.

Have you had the wheel bearings checked? You can usually do this yourself without removing the wheel. Jack up the car until the tyre clears the road surface, chock the front wheels first. Then grab the TOP & BOTTOM of the wheel and try to rock it to & fro, if there is movement then it could be the bearings are worn out or the Locking nut has come loose.
