how to check oil in a vectra c auto gearbox (no dip stick)?

hi , im unable to locate where to check oil levels and condition, on my 2003 vectra c auto / tip gearbox , cant see any dip stick

Unscrew the oil fill bolt on the side of the gearbox. Poke your little finger in and slightly down..if you can feel oil you are okay..if not, top it up. Don't forget to put the bolt back
