how can i get the rear brake piston to retract in a ford Mondeo 2 lt.ZTEC ?

how do I get the piston to retract in my Ford Mondeo 2litre ztec year 2000 xreg so I can fit new pads. I have turned the piston and applied presure but it will not go back i have tried to push it back using a clamp with the old pad but no good

It is difficult to get the correct pressure whilst trying to turn it. I too would suggest getting a tool from a local parts place. I got mine for £10 and worked a treat after trying many other things. They are universal to fit most cars so is an investment for the future. Failing that the piston may seized and there is nothing you can except repalce the caliper.

You have to rotate the piston back in you can buy the correct tool from most good car spares shops (Halfords)
