boiler problem!!?

I have a Halstead Ace High boiler and have noticed a constant drip coming from a 15mm open ended pipe outside my kitchen. I have read i might have to replace the PRV? Is this correct and if so i would really appreciate any input.thanks steve

Thanks guys, thats great too know. I have a halstead ace high boiler(john) and it was new about 5 years ago so could well need replacing.

sorry, halstead ace...um ok the prv should'nt cost you more than a tenner at your local plumber's merchants and your manual will have a detailed expaination on how to change said part. Hope this was of assistance to you steve.

That may be correct, or your expantion vessel may need replacing. 9/10 times it is the PRV (pressure relief valve) which, if you have the boiler manual to get the part number, is a fairly easy job to do. What boiler do you have?
