How do I remove the on-off button housing on a DC07 ?

How do I remove the on-off button housing on a DC07 I have removed the screw but I don't want to break the housing

Having removed the Torx screw, the housing will pull off towards the front of the machine, it just needs some beef. Try levering with a screwdriver (be careful of wrecking the finish)
