How to replace compressor?

My 6 year old Samsung refrig/frezze stopped cooling.
Temps are flashing, reset didn't help. Is the compressor shot?

if it runs but doesn't cool then it could be a gas/dryer issue.the only thing is its a specialised job and expensive and may or may not work long term.it's a gamble???
