I have the same problem in my picasso, if I put the aircon on its fine- have been told to check pollen filter and possible water forming in this area. Could be your problem alo

is it loseing water,if so check matrix.a good sign or should i say bad sign is carpet will be stained,damp.if it is a bad job to change like most are try rad seal

Have you got the heating control set on recirculation, instead of fresh air?
Are your car carpets damp?
