How can I fix my HP photosmart 7150 printer?

The following message appears "Stalled Carriage or Print Cartridge Cradle is Stuck"
I tried a new cartridge. I tried adjusting the clutch.
When you first turn on the printer,the carriage does move to the other side.
Any ideas?
