I need to change the flexible hose on my DC07, how dose it come out of the handle unit?.

on the gray part that slides up and down, there is a small purple bottom, push on it and hold it down while sliding the gray part down 'till snaps out of the handle ( the gray part is attach to the hose)it should come out of the metal gray tube,,,good luck.......
