How can I fix my Theford CWE Level Indicator Light?

The level warning light on our Thetford CWE cassette toilet is not working. It does not appear to have a battery, as the handbook says, but this may be because we chose the electric flush option instead of the standard manual version. Any ideas?

Is it not working because the LED red light is not working or has the fuse blown in the waste tank compartment or has the reed switch failed or is the float arm in the waste tank jammed. The fuse is easy to check. The float arm in the tank can be checked if your hands are slim enough (put some marigolds on). The float arm is on left hand side as it sits in the compartment. The reed switch(the little magnet on the left side in the waste tank compartment) can be checked by putting a magnet up against it. If none of these work you probably need a new LED which can be bought from any good caravan spares shop. Fitting instructions are included and i know aren't to difficult as i've fitted one myself
