problem with hoover tumble dryer tv30?

The drum on my tv30 wont spin unless i give it a helping hand. After loading the drying i have to rotate the drum by hand before closing the door otherwise it wont spin. once it gets going its fine but will not start on its own. Any sugestions?

the belt is slipping, belt tensioner needs to be tightened or belt needs to be replaced with new one
