Automatic Transmission on Mondeo 2004 GhiaX TDCI would not go in reverse?

I have a Ford MOndeo and yesterday stopped the reverse to work ,could you please let me know in cse you have any suggestions and how much would it cost the Ford Mondeo is form 2004 and is a GhiaX TDCI
