hi,

I had the same problem with my Renault clio and i had no leaks, my water would be filled up to the correct mesurments and no smoke but it would overhead.

I was told the best short term way to help it whilst driving would be to put the heaters on full blast which helps cool the engine down.

In the end i found out i had a burst water pipe which i got replaced (part from europarts.co.uk) which i found to be very cheap and ideal to use.

good luck.
