How can i fix my samsung american style fridge freezer?

My samsung fridge freezer has stopped working. the machine seems to be running, the lights work and the temperature indicator works - however it is not cooling. The freezer is currently on -3 degrees and the fridge on 14 degrees. Is the thermostat broke or is it something to do with leaking gas?
