Most fridge freezers will only operate in a location of above an ambient temp of over 10 degrees. so especially in the winter at night it will not work in a outside un heated location. Better to move it inside if poss.

a fridge on its own will work.a freezer on its own will work.a duel compressor fridge freezer will work but a single stat fridge freezer will not work correctly if the ambient temp is less than 12 deg c
