how do i troubleshoot a speedometer that does not work in a 2000 s-10 blazer, 4.3 liter, 2 wheel drive, 2 door, automatic trans?

remove the gauge trim off the dash and remove the gauge cluster and check that all the prongs on the main plug are not broke,bent,are covered in eletric grease if the doesnt work then theres a short in your wireing some where
