i have a g3 accenta alarm system which will not arm. ?

ive tried doing a reset but still no joy and have since been told i need to do a full factory reset, can anyone tell me how this is done.
the alarm is an accenta g3.

try powering down ie mains and battrie repower up and press reset twice stright away ie within 10 secs of powering up
