how to fix my srs warning light (range rover p38)?

Air bag warning light comes on and stays on. Is it something simple or do i have to take it to land rover?

my p38 4.0 v8 auto i got no drive no matter weather its in d 1st r or park the car still freewheels when handbrake off??? fault only happend after moveing from low range to high range can not get anything now??????????????????????///

you can get the equipment yourself reset it, you will the T4 model. or go to a specialist to get it done.

if the light is staying on then it may be that one of the bulbs is blown.

or a sensor has failed.

check all the wiring, most likely culprit is the seat side airbags, crimp all the connections tight and should sort it.

If its just the srs red light thats on and the dash does not say airbag fault, then it could be a blown srs bulb.
There are two bulbs together, if one fails the other stays permenantly lit as a backup warning.

I'd go to an Independent Specialist LR dealer - usually much cheaper.

airbag faulty, will need to take it to land rover or a specialist, there is a danger that if you try to remove yourself that the air bag could go off, not a good idea
