power steering leak help needed ?

hi my zafira 1.6 16v on a v plate power steering rack is leaking oil from steering gear pinion i lifted the rubber gromit and it was full of oil is their an oil seal their that could be broken and causing the leak can this be fixed or will i have to buy another rack thank you
