i have a 350 transit lwb is holding on when it is left for longer than a hour what is the problem?

when you say holding on do you mean it wont move. if this is your problem it could be your handbrake cables. when it happens just jack up the rear and release your handbrake and check wheels are free to move, if one or more are tight it is your cable or faulty shoes.
