how do i stop the airbag warning light coming on and off on a 1999 ford ka.

the flashes indicate a fault code .if you turn on the ignition and let the airbag light come on and then go out it will then start to flash if you count the flashes in tens and then in units say 2 flashes separated by a pause then three flashes then another pause this would be code 23 once you have done this ask again on this site for the meaning of the fault code

Hi , check under the front seats for the wiring thats in a yellow sleaving it's the wiring to the seatbelt tensioner's there are connectors that sometimes get pulled apart as the seats are adjusted, reseat these connectors and sometimes it will get rid of the warning light, but don't worry it's not an MOT failure item!!
