the most probable cause is the thermastat. u will find it at the bk, close to the heating element. it is a little flat round thing. the best way to check this, is to get someone with electricle experience to by pass the thermastat, by connecting the live and neutral together. But you must not run the machine for any lenght of time with the wires connected. you have to get a new thermastat. if it still does not heat up then its the heating element it self and this could be exspensive. gd luck
