CREDA T622CW?

I have a problem. its not heating up!! nd driving me mad. ive checked the thermostats and i seem to have 250v across them but im not 100% how to check the element. could you help? any information would be brill.

Even though you still get continuity the thermostats have almost certainly gone.

I managed to blow two sets of thermostats on my Creda, (before realising what I was doing wrong) yet they still showed continuity.

The most likely cause of blowing them, incidentally, is opening the dryer when in use. As soon as you open the door, cold air rushes in, forcing the hot air to rise out the back of the dryer past the thermostat which then pops.

Always turn your dryer off, then wait a minute before opening the door.
