How can I fix my dyson DC05 vacuum cleaner?

My DC05 vacuum cleaner just stopped working. Now when I plug it in, it is completely dead. Checked the plug fuse, which is fine.

you will proberbly find if you take it apart the cable reel as a break in the wire at the end hope this helps common fault other than that the lead off the main switch can work loose or its the motor
