my morphy richards steam genrtor has stoppes steaming heats up iron but no steam please help

when it used to work ok ,did it make an noise when you triggered the microswitch if it did and now it isn't the solenoid valve is out of order.this is situated nearest the boiler has 3 wires and is square in shape and has a flexible pipe attached to it feeding steam to your steam iron .Work only when cold as the boiler can have pressure in it
