How can i fix my Dewalt Battery Power Tool (Socket wrench)?

The chuck sounds like it is in neutral when pulling or tightening bolts. I use it for my car to tighten lugs. How do I pull it and see what is wrong with it??

What is the model #? It could be that it just doesn't have enough power to take tires off. Cordless tools just don't have the umph:). Even some electric tools don't have the power. Air tools are the best to use for that purpose.
