performance power pro tool set?

i have the special offer set from B/Q, which i thought was a great purchase at the time.now i`m having real problems with the batteries as they no longer hold their charge for long, and went to look for replacements, apart from B/Q no longer stock these replacements i find it truly discusting that the price of these batteries are some what exspensive, and now have a dilema as to whether i should trash my perchase of tools from B/Q,even refurbishing the batteries is costly, this company is definately ripping of buyers of their products,i may as well go back to using corded tools.

With respect to the last answer. I have replaced my power pro batteries 3 times and at over £40 each that is a complete rip off. This was way before Brown increased the duty as it has been impossible to buy these batteries now for about 2 years. Unfortunately once the batteries have died you are stuffed as there is no way to repair them, second hand batteries are usually shot as well and no one is interested in keeping spares. they would rather you throw away your tools and buy new ones.

don't blame b&q blame gordon brown.
He has added so much duty to the import of batteries within the last year that most importers are not even bringing in replacement batteries. In the governments quest for being green they made importing ni-cad batteries too expensive.
