Bissell Turbo Pro Heat 2X won't suck up water?

The suction isn't working from the main intake. It might be clogged. How can I clear the hose or the main intake?

What does it mean when tools sucking up the dirty water but the bucket not and spitting out hair

take the top tank off and turn upside down, on the side there is a red flap, lift it and clean the filter of lint, that should fix the problem

a little red filter on the side was clogged. I cleaned it. and I also noticed that the rubber seal around the air intake was tucked under so I pulled it back into place. back in buisness! Thanks AL!

Very easy to repair. A new replacement lid will cost you
$25 to $30 dollars. Go to the $.99 cent store and get some super glue. The TANK LID IS THE PROBLEM. A small crack on the outside (or inside surface area) is the culprit. Seal these cracks to prevent air from escaping and you are back in business.

We have a Bissell Proheat 9200 2x that won't pick up water. I notice that the suction was good. In the water container I noticed a little red filter on the side. It was clogged. I cleaned that and also I noticed that the rubber seal around the air intake was tucked under so I pulled it back into place. Works great now.

Check the pump belt. I have replaced it many times.

will not pick up water after used. leaves carpet smelling sour

what you really need to do is download the workshop manual and then take the whole thing apart, you will probably find that the soap has solidified in the heater or on the way to and from the heater, there is nothing to taking it apart its all explained in the manual just take your time and test every now and again with the water tanks in place to make sure the red float spins when you pull the trigger.

Mine was not sucking or spraying. I used a screw driver to take off the clear parts on the front and the two on the sides and used pipe cleaner to get all the dirt and fuzz out. Now it is sucking but still won't spray?? Anyone know how to fix this??

I had same problem, check the front plastic housing (not the part you lift off) the part that actually sucks the water up, is it cracked or broken away at the front, mine was and a small amount of Super Glue Gel
and a little waterproof duct tape solved the problem
they lose suction if that part is cracked even a little
Mine now working fine
