Dishlex 100S wire burned off door switch?

One of the wires on the door switch of my Dishlex 100S has burned off at the terminal. Why would this happen?

Probably just had a loose connection which would cause it to get hot. Nothing to worry about, just cut off burnt part & crimp on a new terminal.
