I need an accurate repair manual for a Whirlpool LHW0050PQ0, compact front load washer. I have a problem on one of the circuit boards and will be damned before I shell out $400 +/- for circuit boards which cost approximately 1/2 the price of the friggin' machine in the first place. I have a friend who is an electronics nerd/genius who claims he can troubleshoot the boards if he has the circuit diagram, so I assume the same would be conatined in a good service manual

I haven't seen a service manual yet from any manufacturer which contains a circuit diagram for the control board. Usually it just has a general wiring diagram. The control board circuit is closely guarded by the manufacturers for some reason. So you wont get one I'm afraid.

The circuit board diagrams are not released.they are designed and manufactured externally to the machine manufacturer and repair agents will only be able to get replacement part at great expense as you state.I think you are on the road to no where looking for a circuit diagram but best of look!.by the way 95% of board failures are due to an external component blowing them up.Be warned!
