its an overflow code, i.e. excess water in machine (underneath) either condensation, or a leak, remove the two rectangular covers at the front on the bottom of machine (where plinth would hide) and put in a rag or sponge, dry it out and try again, im in the same, position, just posted (search bdw45.1 spares) my e4 code is due to an external leak at the back (where top spray bay meets inlet tube) ....good luck
