Problems with cooker, keeps smoking not quite sure which setting is for normal cooking, when i cook anything it starts to smoke and then i have to turn the oven off, is it the oven or i have not got it on the right setting?
Have not the model no. it is a single oven with two
dials, the first one has 6 settings with first one light
then theres two straight lines (one above other) then
what I think is the fan oven with the fan symbol inbetween the two lines? cannot describe the others,
sorry for not being descriptive enough, can anyone help?

if it smokes its only because fat is on the upper element in the oven roof.it will eventually stop if you allow it to run and burn it off.open doors and windows for ventilation during this process.
