How to mend a rubber boot sole?

My rubber sole has split in half. What can I use to mend?
Kimberly, March 2009
I do concrete work and have had to patch my rubber concrete boots several times. The best way is to use a rubber boot patch. You can buy them online at rubberbootbandage.com They hold up in concrete and they do great in water. They're easy to use, just peel and stick, no messy glue or wait time. Not sure if it will work for the sole but may be worth a try.
Hope that helps,
