help me change my lawnmower blade?

I am stripping the nut trying to remove the blade on my mower. I tried socket 9/16, box wrench and vice grip wrench and it gets nowhere. I am trying to move it opposite the way it rotates when cutting. I did lubricate it.

It's a conventional right-hand bolt. Unscrew anti-clockwise to remove. Use a 6-point 14MM socket, and preferably an impact driver.

The bolt IS actually 9/16" head size, but 14MM is fractionally smaller, and a 6-point socket will give better grip.
