My key will not turn in the ignition it worked on saturyda but it wont work now. It is not the steering lock as that is free i have tried wiggling it lots but it will not turn.
It worked fine on saturday It has often needed a little wiggling but it never does this!
I have tried turning alarm and immkobiliser off with key fob lots of times and that works fine.The hole for the key is in a cylinder which is a little bit out of its hole in the steeing wheel. But i dont think that is different from normal.

dunno if it wll help you.. but i have a vauxhall omega t reg cdx.. the lock stsrted jamming a few days ago now its really bad , it was the first pin that had dropped and my bro took the pins out of barrel... so any key will fit in... but only my key will start the car because of the chip in the key and the ecu...

My vectra did that all the time it is so annoying and sometimes took ages to turn.

I was told that it was a combination of a dry lock and worn key.
