i have a clio authentique and the spring or something has gone hoe do i fix it with out taking it to a garage?

Hi, a Haynes manual is a good investment and can be got as cheap as a tenner from ebay. It's worth a try.

Evening classes in car maintenance is a good start - while you're learning you could be constructing a workshop in your spare time and looking around for an account with a parts supplier.

Alternatively a Haynes Maintenance manual wil cost about £25 from Halfords in the UK
